SALT: Scripture Applied Learnt and Taught  Matthew 5.13

What is SALT?

• It is a group for the young people aged 16-18ish who are studying for A-Levels/BTEC/NVQ
• Started in the latter half of 2005

What is the purpose of SALT?

• To study and gain a greater understanding of scripture and to be salt and light wherever we are
• To learn how to apply the Bible on a daily basis
• To encourage each other in our walks with God
• To bring friends along to hear the gospel in an informal setting
• To have fun and know each other better

What happens?

• It takes place every Saturday evening except for the evenings when the Noor Fellowship is on
• We meet, do a Bible study and then something else, for example; going to the beach, eating waffles, playing board games, going for ice-creams, walks etc
• In a few weeks we are planning on going camping overnight at Llangennith - a chance for the young people to bring their friends to hear the gospel as we study the Bible and then hopefully surfing!
