The sick visiting team is responsible for caring for the long-term sick and housebound in the church.
We aim to encourage and care for members who are unable to come to church and to arrange ways of helping them to feel they are still part of the fellowship. Tapes of services are distributed and also a termly letter from the Pastor.
A special communion service is arranged once a term and taxis and lifts are provided for those who are housebound. It enables those who cannot normally attend to take communion with fellow believers, to hear Gods word being preached and, over tea, to renew friendships. |
