Swansea Schools
Church Visits & Assemblies
We would like to offer Swansea Schools an opportunity to visit us and participate in a fun packed program.
Our visit links to the Humanities Curriculum in many areas (helping learners discover their heritage and develop a sense of place and cynefin…exploring their locality and Wales, as well as the wider world).
The school visit program includes:

An Interactive timeline
Focusing on Swansea, introducing the Vikings, the Normans, Copperopolis, Welsh revival, World War 1, Spanish Flu, World War 2, NHS and much more…

Learn what happens at our church
Seeing what happens at a Sunday service and seeing how the church has changed in the last 200 years. They can listen to the organ - and have a try - and sample the other instruments. They can watch an enactment of a baptism and listen to some of the languages that make up the church today.

The Exhibition
In 2025 we celebrated the church's 200th year anniversary and created an Exhibition documenting 200 years of Swansea, Wales, the world, Christianity and the church.
For the final part of the visit there will be free time to walk around the exhibition and spot the events and characters that have been introduced in the timeline. There will be a Scavenger Hunt for those who want to give it a go.

We were made incredibly welcome, and the interactive music session was a real highlight, children loved exploring the instruments and learning more about the church. Staff went above and beyond to ensure every pupil felt included, even providing allergy‑friendly snacks. A fantastic experience for all.”
